Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koala Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Stechino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stechino is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crimson King by Demons & Wizards. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bear scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Stechino closes the distance and clinches up with Bear, looking for a takedown. Stechino pushes Bear against the cage but Bear circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A nice combination there by Bear.
Stechino misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bear lands a glancing blow to the side of Stechino's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bear shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stechino as he avoids it easily.
Stechino checks a low kick from Bear.

Stechino forces Bear back against the cage and clinches.
Bear's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bear is trying to break the clinch but Stechino has him pressed against the cage.

Stechino breaks from the clinch.
Stechino shoots in but Bear avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Koala Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Stechino.
Stechino looks gassed!

Stechino can't keep his opponent in guard - Bear advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Bear postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Stechino to stand up.
Bear could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bear shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stechino as he jumps to the side.

Bear throws a leg kick but Stechino sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Bear misses with a takedown attempt - Stechino sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stechino moves out of range of the body kick from Bear.

Stechino has Bear up against the cage in a clinch.
Bear wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Stechino breaks the clinch.
Bear swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck for Bear with that takedown attempt.

Stechino clinches.
Bear is trying to break free.
Bear wants to get back to striking at distance but Stechino won't allow it.
Stechino is working for takedown but Bear is calmly controlling the position for now.

Stechino escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stechino drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bear wants to sweep here but Stechino controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bear keeping moving, preventing Stechino from controlling successfully.
Bear pulls Stechino in to control the position.

Stechino wanted to stand there but Bear had control of the position.

Stechino avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stechino looking to improve position, pressing down on Bear's thigh with his hand. Bear seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Stechino paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Stechino's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Bear picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
