Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Lindner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Princez! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Princez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Princez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lindner is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lindner is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lindner is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lindner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lindner is breathing heavily. Princez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lindner is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Princez controlling the position easily from mount. Lindner is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Princez controlling the position easily from mount. Princez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lindner tries to reverse the position but Princez maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Princez dominated that round. That's time! Lindner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Princez gets the takedown into side control. Lindner is trying to get back to half guard. Lindner seems a little lost for a moment, as Princez dominates the positioning. Lindner is trying to improve his position. Princez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Lindner manages to work his way to half guard, despite Princez's best efforts. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lindner is trying to get back to full guard. Lindner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Princez is working away from the top position though. Princez passes the guard and advances to mount!

Matt Princez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Matt Princez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Princez controlling from mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Matt Princez just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Princez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Princez is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lindner's shoulder. That is not cool. Lindner tries to buck Princez off but Princez is having none of it. Princez is staying tight to Lindner's torso, preventing him from escaping. Lindner is looking to regain half guard here but Princez keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Princez is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lindner will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Princez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Princez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
