Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Maul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Rino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maul comes to the cage accompanied by Duel of the Fates. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maul misses with an uppercut
and Rino counters with a one-two to the body.
Maul rushes Rino and presses him up against the cage.
Maul lands a nice uppercut.
Rino fails to pull guard.
A short body shot lands from Maul as the two fighters clinch.
Rino is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Maul pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Maul lands with a right to the head.

Maul lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maul digs a right hand underneath Rino's ribcage. Rino let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Maul definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Maul makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Maul lands a hook that snaps the head of Rino backwards.
Rino looks winded!
Rino is trying to pull guard but Maul has him pressed against the cage.
Darth Maul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Rino.

Maul lands a nice uppercut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Maul digs a right hand into Rino's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rino's gas tank.

Maul lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rino backwards.

Maul works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maul pushes Rino against the cage. Maul is working some dirty boxing. Maul pushes off with a quick right hook! Rino goes down! Rino tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Maul moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darth Maul!
