Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kipe Hanninen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorgi Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Welcome to Jamrock by Damian Marley kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jorgi Jones has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kipe Hanninen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kipe Hanninen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorgi Jones! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanninen closes the distance and clinches. Hanninen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jones digs a right hand into Hanninen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hanninen's gas tank. Jones throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hanninen blocks it with crossed arms. Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hanninen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hanninen pulls guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hanninen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Hanninen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Hanninen stops Jones from standing up. Hanninen trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hanninen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones controlling the action here for a moment.
Hanninen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hanninen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Hanninen is looking to score with low kicks. Hanninen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Hanninen trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hanninen is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him. Hanninen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jones pulls Hanninen in to control the position. Jones wriggles free and stands up. Jones is looking to clinch but Hanninen is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Hanninen counters with a two punch combo. Hanninen is breathing heavily. Jones lands the left hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones tries to clinch but Hanninen moves out of range. Jones tries to clinch but Hanninen is having none of it. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hanninen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hanninen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hanninen. Hanninen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
Jones tries to clinch but Hanninen moves away and Hanninen finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Jones tries to clinch but Hanninen moves out of range. Hanninen gets the takedown into side control. Jones can't do much from the bottom here. Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hanninen's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Jones trying to hold on to Hanninen's head to control him but Hanninen postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanninen slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead. Jones wants to control but Hanninen is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jones keeping control of the position. Jones wants to control but Hanninen is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hanninen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones trying to control but Hanninen postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hanninen.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hanninen throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones tries to clinch there but Hanninen circles away.
Hanninen takes the fight into the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hanninen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Jones unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hanninen lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Jones scores a nice knee to the body.
Jones trying to control the position but instead, Hanninen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jones into the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hanninen is trying to trip Jones. He has hold of a leg but Jones is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hanninen persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Jones is trying to control the position but Hanninen postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kipe Hanninen dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones clinches but Hanninen breaks the clinch and Hanninen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Hanninen won't allow it.

Nice body punch from Jones - that landed with a thud.
Jones slowing the pace effectively. Jones pulls guard effortlessly. Jones trying to control the position here. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Hanninen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanninen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jones tries to clinch there but Hanninen circles away.
Jorgi Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones looks to clinch and Hanninen counters by moving into the clinch. Hanninen gets underhooks to prevent Jones's takedown attempt.
Hanninen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jones pulls guard effortlessly. Jones is looking to stand up but Hanninen isn't so interested in that idea. Hanninen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanninen stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jones feints and then cracks Hanninen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hanninen down. Jones scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jones rushes Hanninen and presses him up against the cage. Hanninen is stalling here.
Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hanninen has him pressed against the cage. Hanninen is trying to maintain a safe position but Jones gets an underhook and turns Hanninen into the cage. Jones trying to stall but Hanninen improves his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hanninen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Jones lands a nice knee to the body. Hanninen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones works the jab nicely. Hanninen moves into range and clinches up with Jones. Jones prevents Hanninen from breaking the clinch. Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kipe Hanninen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorgi Jones. Hanninen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones misses with a head kick.
Hanninen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hanninen lands in his opponent's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones stops Hanninen from standing up. Hanninen wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Jones won't allow Hanninen to get back to his feet. Hanninen wants to get back to his feet but Jones passes into half guard.
Jones content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hanninen is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kipe Hanninen will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Hanninen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones with a poor takedown and Hanninen counters by clinching up. Hanninen stalling in the clinch.
Hanninen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones gets caught flat footed, as Hanninen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jones has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hanninen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Hanninen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Hanninen won't allow it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hanninen. Jones is trying to stall.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hanninen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jones trying to control but Hanninen postures up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to get back to his feet.
Hanninen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hanninen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jones defending well though. Hanninen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jones is trying to control but can't.
Jones manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jones throws a looping overhand right but Hanninen ducks down to avoid it. Hanninen closes the distance and clinches. Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hanninen has him pressed against the cage. Jones misses with a knee to the head. Hanninen has clasped his hands together around Jones's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hanninen asserts his dominance and retains side control. Jones is trying to control Hanninen's posture but Hanninen avoids it. The ground and pound from Hanninen seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanninen looking to control but instead Jones has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Hanninen prevents Jones from standing back up.
Jones pushes Hanninen off and gets back to his feet. A head kick misses from Hanninen. Jones moves into range and clinches up with Hanninen. Jones manages to break the clinch.
Jones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jones tries to clinch there but Hanninen circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Jones looking to control.
Jones kicks Hanninen off and gets to his feet. Jorgi Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hanninen has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Kipe Hanninen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hanninen has him pressed against the cage. Jones tries to land a knee to the head but Hanninen blocks with his arms.
And that's the end of the fight! Kipe Hanninen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hanninen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
