Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hakan Juholt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelle Paniikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Paniikki's choice of entrance music: N'sync - Bye Bye Bye. Pelle Paniikki told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juholt throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Paniikki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Juholt won't be happy with that.
Juholt can't do much from the bottom here.
Paniikki tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Juholt wants to control but Paniikki postures up.
Juholt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Paniikki wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Paniikki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Juholt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Juholt tries to control but Paniikki manages to take his back.

Paniikki is working for a rear naked choke. Juholt is not defending it well and Paniikki has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Juholt refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Juholt's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
