The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colon tries to clinch but fails miserably and Murdock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Frances Colon has been cut. Good exchange - Murdock coming out on top. Jack Murdock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murdock drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Colon's head, knocking him out cold! Murdock is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
