Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yossi Khola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Bird! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yossi Khola! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khola lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bird at a distance.
Bird shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Khola scores with a jab to the head.
Bird could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Khola takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Khola connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Khola swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice uppercut lands for Khola. That snapped Bird's head back.
Khola lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Khola. Khola lands with a right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Khola getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Khola displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bird. Khola lands with a shot to the body. Bird on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khola scores with a nice head shot. Khola scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Khola is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bird had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Khola lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bird walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Khola lands with a shot to the body. Khola moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Khola lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Bird gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Khola throws a series of strikes that have Bird backpedaling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khola scores with a one two! Bird had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bird is rocked! Khola lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Bird falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yossi Khola!
