Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Somal Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grant Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Somal Lee! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duncan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lee has taken the fight to the clinch.
Duncan misses with some punches.
Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Duncan thows a body kick. Lee tries to catch it but that hurt him. Duncan scores with a kick to the body.
Lee has Duncan up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Duncan lands with a kick to the temple. Lee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Duncan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Duncan pushes him off. Somal Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee darts in and clinches Duncan up against the cage. Duncan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Duncan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan misses with the head strike.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Duncan misses with a short punch on the inside. Lee tries to break free but Duncan pushes him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lee. A bit of stalling here from Lee.
Lee has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Duncan seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Lee can turn it around. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Duncan. Duncan swings wildly with an uppercut but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it. Lee is trying to break the clinch but Duncan has him pressed against the cage. Duncan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lee. Duncan misses with a hook from the clinch. Duncan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lees head. Duncan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Duncan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Duncan taking a breather. Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Duncan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage! Lee blocks a head kick by Duncan.

Duncan throws a half hearted mid kick. Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Duncan throws a push kick but Lee slaps the foot to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duncan tries to land a front kick but Lee steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Duncan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Lee darts in and clinches Duncan up against the cage. Duncan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Duncan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Duncan lands a hook that snaps the head of Lee backwards. Duncan throws a punch but it's blocked by Lee. Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Duncan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away. Lee throws out a counter right but Duncan avoids it with no problem. Lee closes the distance looking to clinch and Duncan counters with a one-two to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duncan misses with a low kick. Lee misses with a takedown and Duncan counters with a head kick that drops Lee to the mat! Lee scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Lee is rocked! Duncan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Duncan finish him? Duncan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Lee looks winded! Duncan thows a body kick. Lee tries to catch it but that hurt him. Lee takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Lee seems to have recovered his senses. Lee blocks a head kick by Duncan.
Lee misses with a right hand and Duncan counters with a monster head kick that knocks Lee out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Grant Duncan! Grant Duncan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
