Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aydine Antona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain. Antona has chosen Laid to Rest by Lamb of God as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Aydine Antona enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
46 - 30 - 5, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
39 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aydine Antona! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antona fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams blocks the body kick.
Antona has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Antona misses with a hook. Williams ducked under it nicely. Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Antona is looking to land body kicks. Williams tried to counter with a leg kick but Antona avoided it. Antona ducks under a wild hook from Williams. Jab, jab by Williams - just one landing. A leg kick checked by Antona. Antona misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Williams misses with a hook. Antona ducked under it nicely. Antona throws out a counter right but Williams avoids it with no problem. A head kick misses from Antona. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Antona looks to land a combination. Williams sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Williams lands with an uppercut that bounces Antona off the cage and back into range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Antona does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice cross by Williams. Antona ducks under a wild hook from Williams. As Williams backs off Antona throws a huge counter combo but Williams manages to avoid it all.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A slapping leg kick lands for Antona.
Williams changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Antona swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Williams. Antona swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Antona takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Williams has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Warehouse in the buildup to the fight. Williams throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Williams keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Antona. Williams swings for the body but Antona moves out of range.
Williams takes a kick to the side of the head. Williams misses the shot to the body. A left lands for Williams. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Antona connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Paul Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Antona bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Williams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Williams is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Antona jabbing away but nothing is landing. Williams turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Williams lands a leg kick that knocks Antona off balance momentarily. Antona stuns Williams with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Antona pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Williams back to the cage. Antona follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Antona fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Williams seems to have got his legs back now. Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Williams staying out of range there. Antona bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A chopping leg kick lands by Antona. Antona on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Antona looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Antona. Williams takes a swing at Antona's ribcage but misses. Antona on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Williams. Williams obviously looking to wear him down.
Antona misses with a leg kick. Williams checks a leg kick nicely. Antona misses with a wild body shot. Williams bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Antona's head. Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Antona drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Antona momentarily.
Antona just misses with a punch to the body.
Antona goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Antona moves away from the strike by Williams. Williams is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Williams walks into a straight right hand from Antona. Antona swings away with a leg kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams lands a jab-cross combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Antona thumps Williams with a low kick. Williams lands a nice leg kick that just misses Antona's sensitive parts. Antona misses with an uppercut. Antona stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Antona misses with a two punch combination.

Williams misses with an attempted mid kick.
Antona throws a jab but it's blocked by Williams. Antona scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Antona lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively. Williams's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Williams duly obliges. Antona falls off balance throwing a combination
and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Aydine Antona will probably get the nod. That's time! Williams's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Williams dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Williams lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Williams misses with a low kick as Antona jumps back. Antona misses with a series of wild punches.
Williams slips a straight right by Antona. Decent striking displayed by Antona there. Aydine Antona seems to be getting the better of the standup. Antona is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams. Williams dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Williams keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

A lazy left from Williams finds it's target. Antona slips under a jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Antona showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Williams is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

A left and a right from Williams both land. Nice combination.
Antona is rocked! A head kick by Williams - that's a beauty! Antona is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Williams can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Paul Williams! After winning the bout, Paul Williams thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
