Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andre Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy comes to the cage accompanied by Ambitionz Az A Ridah. Sherk has chosen Divinations by Mastodon as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Andre Hardy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andre Hardy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sherk circles away.
As Hardy backs off Sherk throws a huge counter combo but Hardy manages to avoid it all.
Hardy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Sherk misses with a double jab

Sherk fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hardy avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sherk wants to improve his position but Hardy is controlling well.
Hardy is taking a breather. Sherk says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Sherk trying to hold on to Hardy's head to control him but Hardy postures up.
Hardy wants to free his trapped foot but Sherk is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Sherk is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hardy pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are battling for position here. Sherk manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Hardy stays in close to Sherk's body and controls the position.
Hardy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sherk for as long as he can get away with.
Hardy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Hardy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sherk in his tracks.
Sherk avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sherk closes the distance and clinches.

Sherk tries to pull guard but Hardy holds him up against the cage and eventually Sherk drops back down to his feet.
Sherk is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hardy is defending well for now.
Sherk lands an elbow inside that Hardy shrugs off.
Hardy scores with a shoulder strike.
Hardy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sherk has him pressed against the cage.
Sherk tries to score a body lock takedown but Hardy shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Andre Hardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Sherk.
Sherk is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hardy on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sherk throws a punch but it's blocked by Hardy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sherk swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sherk wants the takedown. Hardy is fighting it off but Sherk persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hardy's guard against the cage.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Hardy manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sherk jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hardy walks away with a smile on his face. Sherk gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Hardy dominated that round.
That's time! Hardy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sherk throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hardy counters with a nice uppercut.
Sherk jabs at Hardy's body.
Good work by Sherk as he checks the leg kick.
No joy there for Hardy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sherk tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Sherk throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Sherk misses with an uppercut.
Hardy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dave Sherk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sherk moves into the clinch.
Sherk tries for a takedown. No joy.

Hardy creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Sherk's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Sherk drops to his knees and Hardy pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
