1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricki Suckerpunch! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Celasquez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Celasquez misses with a straight left. Suckerpunch misses with a jab, cross combination.
Suckerpunch connects with a single shot there. Some wild striking there from Suckerpunch.
Suckerpunch pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Celasquez back to the cage. Suckerpunch follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Celasquez is looking to clinch. Suckerpunch has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Suckerpunch works over Celasquez's head and body with a nice combination. Suckerpunch is trying hard to land a takedown here. Celasquez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Celasquez slips a jab and a cross from Suckerpunch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suckerpunch drives through and clinches with Celasquez against the cage.
Celasquez is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Suckerpunch is defending well for now. Celasquez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Suckerpunch gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Celasquez misses with a short punch on the inside. Celasquez wants to break free but Suckerpunch has control.
Suckerpunch can't find room to land a body shot as Celasquez controls the action.
Celasquez has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Celasquez misses with a punch on the inside.
Suckerpunch gets through Celasquez's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Celasquez managing to block the knees to the body from Suckerpunch.
Celasquez tries for a takedown. No joy.
Suckerpunch blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Suckerpunch lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Suckerpunch goes for a takedown attempt but Celasquez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Celasquez tries to close the distance and clinch but Suckerpunch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Celasquez throws a jab but it's blocked by Suckerpunch. A combination from Suckerpunch does no damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Suckerpunch lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Celasquez sprawling to the canvas. Suckerpunch follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Celasquez hang on?
It looks like Vain Celasquez has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Suckerpunch is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Celasquez manages to get to full guard. Celasquez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Celasquez looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Suckerpunch keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Suckerpunch scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Celasquez manages to mount him!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Suckerpunch can do anything to dispel that myth. Celasquez is landing with some decent strikes but Suckerpunch is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Suckerpunch taking shots to the head. Celasquez sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Celasquez lands a big elbow. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Celasquez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Suckerpunch looks a forlorn figure.
Celasquez cracks Suckerpunch with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Celasquez cracks Suckerpunch with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
