The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug takes a swing at Harkimo's ribcage but misses.
Harkimo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Smaug is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Harkimo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smaug throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smaug throws a hook but Harkimo avoids it easily.
Harkimo blocks a head kick by Smaug.
Smaug misses with a wild combination.

Smaug throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Harkimo.
Smaug pivots, looking for a leg kick but Harkimo is out of range and Smaug settles back down.
Harkimo lands a head kick. Smaug smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Cinder Smaug has been cut.
Smaug throws a body kick that misses.
Harkimo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Harkimo doesn't manage to clinch there - Smaug circles away.
Harkimo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jab, jab by Harkimo - just one landing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smaug lands with a nice body punch.
Harkimo takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Harkimo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Smaug feints and then cracks Harkimo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harkimo down.
Harkimo looks to score with a jab to the body but Smaug is just out of range.
Smaug takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Smaug throws a hook but Harkimo avoids it easily.

Cinder Smaug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Smaug misses its intended target.
Smaug lands the left hand.
