Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jamel Morin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mian Talha Irman! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Ron Honeybunn and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Irman is defended easily by Morin. Irman fails with a takedown attempt. Irman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Morin counters with a one-two to the body. Jamel Morin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mian Talha Irman. Morin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Irman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Irman misses with a takedown attempt - Morin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Irman tries to keep at a distance but Morin has taken the fight into the clinch. Irman is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Morin is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morin is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Irman fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Morin just leaning against Irman, taking a breather. Morin has a couple of punches blocked by Irman.

A looping hook to the body misses from Morin. Irman does a little dance to reset his feet. Morin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Morin takes the fight into the clinch.

A quick step to the side and Morin tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Morin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Morin feints and as Irman raises his hands in defense, Morin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Morin works a leg free and moves into half guard. Irman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Irman is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Morin has latched onto it... Big trouble! Morin pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Irman is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Morin!
