Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bearowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Lahey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Lahey will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Bearowsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Lahey! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bearowsky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lahey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bearowsky somewhat. Lahey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lahey wants it to stay on the feet. Lahey throws a counter combo. Bearowsky doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lahey counters with a series of strikes. Bearowsky will be more careful next time no doubt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Bearowsky. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bearowsky has his takedown stuffed and Lahey counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lahey stuffs the takedown. Lahey looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bearowsky is breathing heavily. Bearowsky shoots and misses and Lahey counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Lahey dips to his left and cracks Bearowsky with an uppercut! Bearowsky with a lazy takedown attempt and Lahey counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bearowsky walks into a left hand. Lahey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lahey changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jim Lahey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bearowsky gets tackled into the cage by Lahey. Lahey maintains the clinch. Bearowsky is looking to take this one to the mat. Lahey wants to get back to striking at distance but Bearowsky won't allow it.
Lahey breaks the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Lahey. Lahey changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Lahey darts in and clinches Bearowsky up against the cage. Lahey looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lahey has had enough of the clinch but Bearowsky keeps him there for the moment. Lahey has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bearowsky has Lahey pressed against the cage, preventing Lahey from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bearowsky wants to take the fight to the mat but Lahey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Bearowsky is trying to drag Lahey to the mat but Lahey just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lahey is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lahey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bearowsky looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lahey takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lahey throws a head kick that half lands.
Lahey throws a series of punches but Bearowsky moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lahey lands with a slapping head kick. Bearowsky misses with a takedown and Lahey counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Lahey throws a nice outside leg kick. Bearowsky takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Lahey takes the fight into the clinch. Lahey is trying to break the clinch but Bearowsky is controlling him. Lahey is trying to push Bearowsky away but Bearowsky has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bearowsky is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lahey can't break the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Lahey's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lahey wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bearowsky looking for a takedown. Lahey wants to get back to striking at distance but Bearowsky won't allow it.
Lahey is trying to stall.
Bearowsky is trying to drag Lahey to the mat but Lahey just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lahey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bearowsky gets cracked there but stands up to it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bearowsky looks for a takedown but Lahey sprawls well. Lahey has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lahey closes the distance and clinches. Bearowsky goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lahey prevents it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lahey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jack Bearowsky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick misses from Lahey. Bearowsky attempts a counter takedown but Lahey avoids it well and moves away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice shot lands for Lahey. Lahey clinches up against the cage.

Bearowsky drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lahey pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jack Bearowsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bearowsky takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bearowsky tries for a takedown but Lahey circles away easily and Lahey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lahey works the jab nicely. Lahey rushes Bearowsky and presses him up against the cage. Bearowsky tries for a takedown but Lahey manages to get underhooks.
Lahey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bearowsky has his takedown stuffed letting Lahey counter with a right hand. Lahey cracks Bearowsky with a good jab. Bearowsky takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Lahey misses with a head kick.
Lahey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jab from Lahey. A left and a right from Lahey both land. Nice combination. Bearowsky takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lahey bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bearowsky's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bearowsky takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A punch combination from Lahey misses. Lahey misses with a two punch combination.
Bearowsky appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Lahey scores with a nice head shot.
Bearowsky is rocked! Crack! A monster head kick from Lahey and Bearowsky falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Lahey!
