Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nari Vari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niten Dōraku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dōraku comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ides Of Light - Jucifer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Niten Dōraku!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vari fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vari tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dōraku decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vari's guard.
Dōraku tries to free his leg and advance position but Vari is retaining full guard.
Dōraku won't allow Vari to get back to his feet.
Dōraku in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dōraku is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dōraku working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dōraku is looking to advance position but Vari has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Dōraku wants to hold on but Vari pushes him away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dōraku really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Dōraku tries to lock up and control but Vari gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dōraku is desperately trying to improve his position but Vari has a good base and remains in mount.
Dōraku tries to hold on but Vari postures up.
Vari manages to capitalize on a mistake by Dōraku to take his back!
Dōraku staying busy and making it hard for Vari to control.
Vari has the hooks in. Dōraku is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Dōraku is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Dōraku tries to roll but Vari sticks to his back.
Dōraku breaks Vari's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Dōraku trying to control but Vari is working from the bottom.

Dōraku postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Vari seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Vari is trying to control the position but Dōraku postures up.
Dōraku missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Dōraku wants to control from the top but Vari keeps moving.
Vari is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Dōraku presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Dōraku working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Dōraku misses with a punch to the body.
Vari pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Vari moves in looking to clinch but Dōraku pushes him off.
Dōraku scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vari doesn't seem bothered though.
Vari is looking to slow Dōraku down with leg kicks.
Dōraku cracks the inside of Vari's front leg.
Vari tries to clinch but Dōraku moves out of range.
Vari closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Vari breaks from the clinch.
A cross from Dōraku lands.
Dōraku lands with an uppercut that bounces Vari off the cage and back into range.
Dōraku with a nice cross.
Dōraku lands with a straight right. Vari didn't see that one coming.
Vari is rocked!
Vari tries to clinch there but Dōraku circles away.
Oh Vari is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dōraku scores with a kick to the midsection.
Dōraku stuns Vari with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Vari is breathing heavily.
Dōraku cracks Vari with a hook to the temple - Vari is on wobbly legs here! Dōraku swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Vari falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Dōraku wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Niten Dōraku!
Niten Dōraku was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
