Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Cabral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hay Maker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cabral drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cabral is working Maker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Cabral postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Maker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cabral. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cabral stands up over Maker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Maker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cabral.
Cabral postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Cabral throwing strikes but missing.
Cabral working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Maker's head.
Cabral lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Cabral with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maker is trying to control the position but Cabral postures up.
Maker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cabral throwing strikes from guard but Maker blocks nicely.
Cabral makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Cabral has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Maker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Cabral drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cabral seems to have locked his on tight now - Maker screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cabral, as he picks up the win!
