The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Babaretti.
Babaretti throws a nice outside leg kick.
Riordan blocks a head kick by Babaretti.
Riordan appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Babaretti keeps Riordan at a distance using the push kick.

Babaretti gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Babaretti unloads a knee to the mid-section. Riordan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Riordan tries for a takedown but Babaretti manages to get underhooks.
Oh Riordan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Riordan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Babaretti pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Babaretti jerks Riordan's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Riordan drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Babaretti goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Babaretti because Riordan was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
