Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Berry Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Abraham! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chambers gets tackled into the cage by Abraham. Abraham maintains the clinch. Chambers drags the fight down to the ground.
Chambers scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Chambers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Abraham can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Abraham got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chambers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Abraham has managed to get both his arms back between Chambers's legs - danger averted. Abraham stopping the sweep attempt from Chambers. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chambers has his foot on Abraham's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abraham works his way back into a safe position though. Abraham sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Abraham gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Abraham slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Abraham drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chambers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chambers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chambers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abraham tries to improve position but can't. Chambers wants to stand but Abraham has his arm trapped. Chambers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Abraham wants to control but Chambers postures up. Chambers throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Chambers working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Abraham really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chambers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Abraham tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abraham is still trying to improve position. Chambers misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Chambers postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Chambers tries to score with some ground and pound. Abraham controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Abraham controls the position for a moment. Abraham should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Chambers working the ground and pound from side control. Chambers working the head and body with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chambers tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Abraham is not in a great position here, taking some shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Berry Chambers dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chambers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Abraham to keep the fight standing. Chambers jumps guard but Abraham stands there with Chambers around his waist. Chambers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Abraham swings wildly with an uppercut but Chambers uses good head movement to avoid it. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Abraham working aggressively here.
Abraham throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chamberss head. Abraham tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Abraham makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chambers stalling in the clinch but Abraham improves position. Abraham tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Abraham misses with the head strike.

Chambers tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Abraham smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Berry Chambers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abraham is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. David Abraham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abraham is breathing heavily. Chambers shoots in for a takedown but Abraham shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Abraham tries to counter with a clinch but Chambers shakes him off and moves away. Chambers fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Chambers sets himself, and Abraham steps forward looking for the clinch! Chambers avoids it this time. Abraham throws a lazy right hand but Chambers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Chambers is looking for a counter combo. Abraham has closed the distance and engaged Chambers in a clinch.

Abraham lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Chambers or not. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Chambers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Abraham walks away with a smile on his face. Chambers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chambers is defended easily by Abraham. Abraham tries to counter by closing the distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Abraham showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on David Abraham's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Abraham creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abraham tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Chambers takes a shot to the head. Abraham lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Abraham struggles to land a body shot inside as Chambers controls his hands.
Chambers is trying to break free. Abraham lands with a left to the head. Chambers successfully pulls guard.
Chambers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Abraham's guard. Chambers scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Chambers throwing strikes from guard but Abraham blocks nicely. Chambers with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chambers is looking to work some ground and pound but Abraham has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abraham takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Chambers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Berry Chambers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chambers stands up over Abraham, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Chambers throws a big elbow that misses. Chambers chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abraham looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Chambers passes into half guard.
Chambers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Abraham defends it well. Abraham blocking the ground and pound attempt from Chambers. Chambers missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chambers working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Chambers missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Chambers seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Chambers is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Abraham doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chambers. Chambers is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Abraham has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Berry Chambers. I think Chambers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
