Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kid Crusher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bone Breaker! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crusher changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Breaker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ground and pound from Crusher seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Crusher in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Breaker wants to get back to his feet. Breaker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Crusher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Breaker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crusher misses with the ground and pound. Crusher misses with the ground and pound. Crusher is working Breaker over with some ground and pound from side control. Crusher tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Breaker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crusher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Breaker parries the strikes from Crusher easily there. Crusher is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Breaker to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breaker on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Breaker is trying to get back to his feet. Crusher lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Breaker down.
Crusher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Breaker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crusher is breathing heavily. Breaker managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Crusher.
Crusher looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breaker is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Crusher in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Crusher prevents Breaker from escaping the position. Crusher fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Crusher is working to tighten is grip on Breaker's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Breaker has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Crusher is really squeezing tight and eventually Breaker passes out! Crusher breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
