Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Rexar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Souza might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Los Porongas - Silêncio. Rexar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Big Shit Poppin'. David Souza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Souza!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Rexar!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rexar missing with a left hand there. Souza was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rexar looks to land a right hand but Souza moved out of range.
Souza was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Donk. Rexar catches Souza right on the button with a cross.
Rexar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Souza throws a series of punches but Rexar avoids them all with ease.
Souza wants to land a leg kick but Rexar is out of range.
Rexar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rexar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Souza blocks an uppercut.
Souza is trying to drag Rexar to the mat but Rexar just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Rexar scores with a shot to the side of Souza's head.
Souza tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rexar lands with a left to the head.
Rexar throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Rexar prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A short right from Rexar.
Rexar throws a head punch that misses.
Rexar gets through Souza's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A short uppercut from Rexar.
A short left from Rexar.
Rexar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Souza backwards.
Rexar lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rexar breaks the clinch.
Rexar lands a left and a right that send Souza crashing to the mat, dazed. Rexar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Souza is rocked!
Tyler Rexar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Souza walks straight into a right hand from Rexar - that's dropped him! Rexar jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Souza from any more punishment! Souza complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tyler Rexar!

Post fight, Tyler Rexar stared into the camera and said 'It's an amazing feeling to finally have a title ive been fighting for so long. And its a plus to that I get to avenge an earlier loss in the process. Props to Souza, we're even now buddy. Maybe we'll get a grudge match soon enough. and the new..!'.
