The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eetu drives through and clinches with Christ against the cage.
Eetu has hold of one of Christ's legs. Christ is fighting the takedown attempt but Eetu gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Eetu slips nicely into half guard.
Eetu is tying to control. Christ wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Christ is looking to control Eetu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Christ avoid being mounted?
Christ is pressing down on Eetu's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Eetu trying to control but Christ is working from the bottom.
Eetu has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Christ looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Christ keeping moving, preventing Eetu from controlling successfully.
Christ throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Eetu won't allow Christ to sweep him here.
Eetu trying to control the position from guard on top but Christ is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Eetu wants to pass the guard but Christ is keeping the position.
Eetu has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Christ to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Eetu is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Christ pulls down on the head and he's put Eetu to sleep! This one is all over!
