And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hilton eats them both and turns towards Putin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Gunner Hilton has been cut.
Putin connects with a crisp jab.
Hilton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Putin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hilton takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hilton looks to throw the jab but Putin is out of range.
Putin throws an off balance right hand
and Hilton counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A big right from Hilton misses.
Putin shoots in looking for a takedown but Hilton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Putin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hilton throws a hook but Putin avoids it easily.

Hilton takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Putin lands with a nice combination. Hilton backs away looking to recover.

Putin throws a lazy uppercut
and Hilton counters with a straight right hand.
Putin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Putin tests Hilton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Putin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hilton connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Putin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hilton walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hilton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Putin jabs Hilton to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hilton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Putin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Putin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hilton.
Putin cracks Hilton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hilton missing with a left hand there. Putin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hilton cracks a nice hook into Putin's ribs.

Putin throws a nice looking combination but Hilton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hilton throws a lazy right hand but Putin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Hilton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hilton cracks Putin with a good jab.
Putin scores with a jab to the body.
Putin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Putin throws a hook to the side of Hilton's head but Hilton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hilton throws a jab but it's blocked by Putin.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hilton! But no joy.
Putin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hilton counters with a stiff right hand.
Putin is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Hilton throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Hilton walks into a jab.
Putin is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Putin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hilton finds it's way round the side to connect with Putin's head.
Putin throws a low kick but Hilton moves out of range easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hilton! But no joy.
Sloppy strikes from Putin. Those never looked like landing.
Putin just misses with a punch to the body.
Putin swings for the body but Hilton moves out of range.
Putin throws a series of strikes that have Hilton backpedaling.
Hilton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A big right from Putin misses.
Hilton lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Putin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Putin is breathing heavily.
Putin throws a combination that misses
and Hilton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hilton might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Putin needs to keep his hands up - Hilton had a free shot at his head there.
Putin throws an off balance right hand
and Hilton counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
