The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Andreasson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Andreasson misses with a hook. Saukko ducked under it nicely.

Andreasson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Saukko under the eye.
Saukko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Andreasson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Saukko scrambles back to his feet.
Andreasson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Saukko rushes Andreasson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Saukko can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Bestar Andreasson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bestar Andreasson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Bestar Andreasson was interviewed post fight and said 'I felt so sorry for the guy. someone must have beaten him with the ugly stick for years he didnt deserve another beating!'.
