Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nicolas Wall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brock Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wall tries to circle away but Lesnar has him pinned against the cage. Wall can't break the clinch.
Lesnar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wall just stands there and leans against the cage. Lesnar tries to pull guard but Wall forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Wall leaning against his opponent.
Wall is defending well against a takedown attempt. Nicolas Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar jumps into guard, dragging Wall to the mat.
Lesnar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lesnar avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth. Lesnar seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wall throwing strikes but missing. Lesnar is looking to stand back up but Wall counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lesnar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar tries to get to full guard but Wall has control of the leg. Lesnar trying to hold on to Wall's head to control him but Wall postures up.
Wall is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wall prevents Lesnar from improving his position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Lesnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lesnar looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Wall. No joy for Lesnar on that attempt. Lesnar clinches up against the cage. Wall wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lesnar has him pressed against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Lesnar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lesnar moves into the clinch. Lesnar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lesnar dives in for a single leg takedown but Wall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Wall appears to be looking for a counter takedown. A decent looking body kick lands there for Lesnar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lesnar to the ground. Wall is now in Lesnar's guard. Lesnar is trying to control the position but Wall postures up. Lesnar has an active guard here but Wall has managed to pass into half guard.
Lesnar looks winded! Wall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lesnar sees it coming and defends easily. Wall lands strikes from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wall scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wall sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lesnar defending well though. Lesnar looking for submissions off his back. Wall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lesnar sees it coming and defends easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lesnar strikes from the bottom but Wall passes into mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nicolas Wall dominated that round. That's time! Wall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lesnar with a lazy takedown attempt and Lesnar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. No luck for Lesnar with that takedown attempt. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wall as he avoids it easily. Nicolas Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar. Lesnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wall, pushing him back against the cage. Lesnar pulls guard successfully.
Lesnar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wall has picked Lesnar up and slammed him! Lesnar can't keep hold of the triangle and Wall manages to pass to side control! Wall is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lesnar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wall connects with a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lesnar looking for a sweep but Wall has passed into full mount! Oh no! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar is looking to improve his position but Wall isn't that keen on the idea. Nicolas Wall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lesnar wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wall connects with a big shot to the side of Lesnar's head.
Lesnar is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Wall is looking for the choke from the back position but Lesnar is controlling his hands well. Wall trying to control. Wall is not going to allow Lesnar to sit and survive in this position. Wall keeps control of the position as Lesnar tries to break free.
Wall is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lesnar can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Lesnar looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Wall is trying to stick to Lesnar's back but Lesnar is turning into Wall. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wall's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lesnar. Lesnar content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Wall has locked up a guillotine! Wall's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lesnar is holding on here and Wall must be using up a lot of energy. Lesnar has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Wall gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
