Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sean Morely! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ray Monteo! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monteo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Morely jabs at Monteo's body. Morely's corner calls for a 1-2. Morely obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Monteo misses with an uppercut. Morely saw that one coming. Monteo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morely wants to clinch. Morely is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Monteo. Monteo throws a body shot but no joy. Monteo takes a swing at Morely's ribcage but misses. Monteo digs a good hook to Morely's body.
Monteo throws a big shot that misses. Monteo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Morely. Monteo misses with a wild body shot. Morely throws a right hand that Monteo ducks under and follows up with a left that Monteo also avoids with ease. Morely with a body punch. A glancing blow.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Monteo lands a body shot.
Monteo looks to land a left hand but Morely moved out of range nicely. Monteo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Morely throws a series of punches but Monteo moves out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Morely misses the target. Morely moves out of range as Monteo strikes. Monteo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd cheers as Monteo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Morely doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Sean Morely has been cut. Monteo scores with the left hand. Morely knows he should have avoided that one. Sloppy strikes from Monteo. Those never looked like landing. A decent looking cross lands there for Morely. A decent looking cross lands there for Morely. This has been an exciting period of action! Morely waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Monteo. Morely misses with an uppercut. Monteo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morely.
Monteo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Morely misses with a wild combination.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Monteo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Morely avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Morely dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've been told by Morely's head coaches at THE GYM (20 Elite coaches on the Island !!!) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Monteo throws a right hand that Morely ducks under and follows up with a left that Morely also avoids with ease. Morely swings and misses with a shot to the body and Monteo counters with a stiff right hand.
Morely gets in close and instigates a clinch. Morely misses with a body punch.
Morely lands a body punch in the clinch. Monteo is looking to control Morely's arms but Morely gets an underhook and turns him. Now Monteo has his back to the cage. A head punch on the inside from Morely fails to land. Monteo working hard to break the clinch. Monteo tries to circle away but Morely has him pinned against the cage. Morely fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Morely can't find room to land a body shot as Monteo controls the action.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Morely works on Monteo's body with a couple of short punches. A head punch on the inside from Morely fails to land. Monteo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Morely misses with a punch to the body.
Morely lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Monteo backwards. Monteo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Morely lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Monteo. A frustrated look appears on Monteo's face as he tries to break the clinch. Morely lands a right hand. Morely lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Monteo is rocked! Monteo is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Monteo is still on wobbly legs! Can Morely finish him? Morely swings wildly with an uppercut but Monteo uses good head movement to avoid it. Morely misses with a hook from the clinch. Monteo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Monteo tries to circle away but Morely has him pinned against the cage. Monteo seems to have recovered his senses. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Monteo. Monteo blocks a punch to the side of the head.

The referee calls for Monteo to work.
Morely tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Monteo throws a punch but it's blocked by Morely. A short uppercut from Morely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morely lands a body punch. Morely lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Monteo to his knees! Morely keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Morely! A relieved looking Sean Morely thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
