Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Polo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Light's head.
Polo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Polo leaves Light with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Polo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Light counters by moving into the clinch.
Light has clasped his hands together around Polo's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Light scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Polo to see if he's OK.

Light is putting a hurting on Polo here, landing some big shots from side control.

Light creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Light decides to stand up, so the ref orders Polo to his feet.

Light looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Marko Polo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Light shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Polo is working an open guard so Light takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Polo tries to sprawl but Light drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Light has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
