Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jilted Royalty!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Royalty has managed to clinch.
Atkinson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Royalty is trying to trip Atkinson. He has hold of a leg but Atkinson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Royalty persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Atkinson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Royalty working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Royalty wants to get up but he can't break Atkinson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Atkinson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Jilted Royalty showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Royalty is defended easily by Atkinson.

Royalty connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Atkinson! He's out on his feet! Royalty rushes in and drops Atkinson with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

During a confident post fight interview, Jilted Royalty thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
