Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Apaga Nao Bate as his entrance music. Ricky Hatton could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rob Gracie's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Hatton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Gracie! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Hatton, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Hatton against the cage but Hatton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hatton pinned against the cage. Hatton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gracie tries for a takedown but Hatton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ricky Hatton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Gracie. Hatton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hatton is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Hatton circles away and we're back to standing. Hatton moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is looking to clinch. Hatton throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease. Rob Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
A jab-cross combination lands for Hatton and sends Gracie crashing to the mat! Hatton follows him down to the mat - Gracie regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Gracie is rocked! Gracie is trying to stand back up but Hatton is controlling him
Gracie wants to improve his position but Hatton is controlling well.
It looks like Hatton is going to stand back up.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hatton is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hatton's back instead. Gracie working for the choke. Gracie looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Hatton avoids the strikes from Gracie. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Hatton wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie working for a choke but Hatton is defending well. Hatton is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Gracie looking for the RNC.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hatton wants to get back to his feet. Hatton fending off the submission attempt from Gracie. Gracie working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Hatton looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Hatton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hatton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there. Hatton is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hatton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie. Hatton looks like he's trying to stand up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is looking for a kimura but Hatton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage. Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
Hatton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground. Hatton is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hatton instigates a clinch. Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hatton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hatton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hatton darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatton gets underhooks to prevent Gracie's takedown attempt.

Ricky Hatton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Gracie. Hatton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hatton wants to clinch but Gracie slips to the side and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hatton wants to get back to his feet. Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hatton keeps working. Hatton looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie works his foot free and advances to mount. Gracie landing punches. Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hatton has worked his arm free - good work by Hatton!
Gracie passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hatton! Gracie tries to control but Hatton wriggling away. Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hatton is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hatton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Hatton shows good takedown defense. Hatton tries to clinch up. Hatton throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton Rushes Gracie and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Gracie is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Hatton Piles on the pressure and Gracie crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
