Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Roosevelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Constrictor Boa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roosevelt's entrance music is Soulfly - Pain. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roosevelt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boa lands with a nice body kick.
Boa throws a body punch but Roosevelt moves out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Boa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Boa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Boa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Roosevelt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boa.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roosevelt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roosevelt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Karl Roosevelt spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
