Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Rockhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klay Montez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Rockhard has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Richard Rockhard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Klay Montez! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockhard shoots for a double leg takedown but Montez sprawls well. He's pushed Rockhard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Montez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Montez tries to stand but can't do so whilst Rockhard controls his leg. Montez controlling the action here. Rockhard with the active half guard here but Montez passes nicely into side control. Rockhard is trying to escape the position but Montez is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Montez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rockhard tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Montez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rockhard is working hard here to advance position. You can see the frustration on Rockhard's face as Montez controls the position. Montez wants to stand but Rockhard is controlling his arm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rockhard struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Montez is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rockhard's shoulder. That is not cool. Rockhard taking punishment in the form of punches.
Montez staying calm. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rockhard is not content to let Montez control the position. Montez stands up and beckons Rockhard to his feet. Montez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rockhard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Montez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rockhard looking for a guillotine here but Montez defends easily.
Montez wants to control from the top but Rockhard keeps moving. Rockhard looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Montez passes Rockhard's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Montez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rockhard wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Montez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Rockhard tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Montez is controlling the pace.
Rockhard is refusing to be controlled, as Montez sits in half guard. Montez scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rockhard is in trouble now - Montez has advanced to mount! Rockhard is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Klay Montez dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Montez. Montez is working Rockhard over with some ground and pound from side control. Rockhard wants to control but Montez postures up. Rockhard is not content to let Montez control the position. Rockhard gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Montez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rockhard with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Montez seems to be working for a kimura but Rockhard defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Montez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rockhard gets back to full guard.
Rockhard is trying to hold Montez in close to prevent damage but Montez has managed to pass into half guard.
Montez trying to mount his opponent but Rockhard defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Montez gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Montez has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Montez forces Rockhard back against the cage and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montez gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rockhard regains guard.
Montez landing some decent shots from guard. Rockhard keeping moving, preventing Montez from controlling successfully. Montez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rockhard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rockhard is looking for a triangle but Montez pushes his legs off easily.
Montez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Montez controlling from the top position. Montez wants to control from the top but Rockhard keeps moving. Klay Montez has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rockhard can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Montez controls the pace. Montez is sitting in close to Rockhard's body. Rockhard has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Montez is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Montez is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Rockhard.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Richard Rockhard! A very excited looking Richard Rockhard rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
