Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Garret Becker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Scott!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Becker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Becker moves into the clinch successfully.
Becker is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Becker wants a takedown.
Scott has had enough of the clinch but Becker keeps him there for the moment.
Becker tries to pull guard but Scott holds him up against the cage and eventually Becker drops back down to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Becker went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Scott is pressed up against the cage. Becker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Scott down to the mat. Scott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mark Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Becker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Becker is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Scott has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Becker lands a nice short elbow.

Becker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looked like Becker wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Garret Becker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close second round but I would say that Garret Becker will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
