Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hi Ken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hi Ken will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Shaun Acosta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hi Ken! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acosta showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ken.
Acosta takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ken misses with the combination.
Acosta was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. A punch combination from Ken misses. Ken misses with a few strikes there.
Ken misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ken misses with a body shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ken!
Ken looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ken rushes Acosta and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ken is trying to force a seperation but Acosta has the dominant position. Acosta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ken throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Acosta will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Ken.
Ken throws a left and a right that both miss
and Acosta counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Acosta working over Ken with some ground and pound. Ken looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Acosta is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Acosta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Acosta scoring with strikes to the body and head. Acosta lands strikes from half guard. Ken really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Acosta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Acosta is thwarting Ken's attempts to control the position. Ground and pound from Acosta. Ken pushes Acosta off, looking to escape but Acosta dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Ken is forced to tap! The fight is over!
