Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Theodoard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Theodoard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Spike Reaper! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Theodoard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Reaper manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Reaper darts in looking for a takedown but Theodoard gets double underhooks and turns Reaper into the cage. Theodoard rushes Reaper and presses him up against the cage. Reaper throws an elbow that misses.
Theodoard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Theodoard is looking to clinch. Reaper circles away from the clinch attempt.
Theodoard shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Theodoard closes the distance and clinches. Reaper prevents the takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Theodoard has Reaper pressed against the cage.
Theodoard lands a good knee to the midsection. Reaper won't want to take too many of those. Theodoard has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reaper is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Theodoard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Theodoard - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Theodoard is pressed up against the cage. Reaper has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Theodoard down to the mat. Theodoard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. No luck for Theodoard with that takedown attempt. Theodoard tries to clinch up. Reaper closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Theodoard did well to prevent Reaper getting side control. Reaper trying to control from half guard but Theodoard is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Theodoard is defending against the submission attempts here by Reaper.

Reaper is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Theodoard doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Reaper. Reaper prevents Theodoard from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Theodoard makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Theodoard. Reaper drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Theodoard manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Reaper has Theodoard in his guard. Theodoard wants to control from the top but Reaper keeps moving. Reaper is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Theodoard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reaper is keeping the position for now. Theodoard stopping the sweep attempt from Reaper. Reaper lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Theodoard wants to control from the top but Reaper keeps moving. Theodoard throws a big elbow that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Theodoard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reaper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Theodoard has managed to get both his arms back between Reaper's legs - danger averted. Theodoard wants to get up but he can't break Reaper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Spike Reaper will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Reaper shoots in and bounces Theodoard off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reaper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reaper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Reaper postures up.

Reaper is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Theodoard sees it coming and defends easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reaper is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Theodoard has his foot on Reaper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reaper works his way back into a safe position though. Reaper has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Theodoard isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Reaper stacks Theodoard on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Reaper! Reaper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reaper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. You can see the frustration on Theodoard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Reaper is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Theodoard knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Theodoard holds on to Reaper's head and controls the position momentarily. Theodoard wants to control but Reaper postures up.

Reaper drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Theodoard manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Reaper has Theodoard in his guard.
Theodoard gets to his feet - Reaper follows without any prompting. Richard Theodoard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Theodoard throws a head kick that misses. Theodoard has closed the distance and engaged Reaper in a clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reaper wants the takedown. Theodoard is fighting it off but Reaper persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Theodoard's guard against the cage. Theodoard is looking for a triangle but Reaper pushes his legs off easily.

Spike Reaper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Theodoard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Theodoard is looking to control Reaper's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Theodoard avoid being mounted? Theodoard gets full guard. Theodoard throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Reaper escapes and throws Theodoard's legs to the side, diving into side control! Theodoard is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reaper is controlling him well. Theodoard tries to buck Reaper off but Reaper is having none of it. Reaper trying to control the action but Theodoard is working from the bottom. Reaper wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Theodoard, who protects the arm well.

Reaper working away. Theodoard is trying to get back to half guard. Reaper throws an elbow but Theodoard slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reaper working the head with strikes. Theodoard wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. An elbow from Reaper crashes against the mat.
Reaper is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Theodoard is trying to escape and Reaper transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Theodoard is forced to tap! Nice work there by Reaper! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Spike Reaper! A relieved looking Spike Reaper thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
