These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faulkner looks to land a left hand but Harris moved out of range nicely.
Faulkner misses with a shot to the body
and Harris counters by moving into the clinch.
Harris gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Faulkner regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Harris gets to his feet - Faulkner follows without any prompting.
Harris looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Faulkner wants to improve his position but Harris is controlling well.
Harris wants to work for an arm triangle but Faulkner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Faulkner wants to get back to his feet.
Faulkner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Well, if Harris is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Faulkner wants to control the action here but instead Harris manages to pass to full mount!

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Faulkner looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Harris! Submission of the night perhaps?
