The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poe misses with a takedown attempt - Angelo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Angelo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Angelo lands a nice uppercut.
Poe is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Angelo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Angelo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Poe up against the ropes.

Angelo continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Poe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Angelo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Poe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Luiz Angelo.
Angelo looks to land a combination but Poe avoids it well.
Angelo misses with an uppercut.
Poe shoots in for a takedown but Angelo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Angelo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poe was well out of range. Poor timing from Angelo.
Angelo moves into the clinch.
Angelo is pushing Poe up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Poe drops down looking for an ankle pick but Angelo pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Angelo lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Hugh Poe has been cut.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Poe tries for a takedown. No joy.
The referee is keeping an eye on Angelo - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Poe is trying to drag Angelo to the mat but Angelo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Angelo lands a big right hand that drops Poe! The killer instinct kicks in and Angelo finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Angelo!
