Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charrua fails with a takedown attempt.
Charrua gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Newson counters with an inside leg kick.
Charrua has his takedown stuffed
and Newson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jase Newson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Unknown Charrua.
Charrua misses with a takedown
and Newson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Unknown Charrua has been cut.
Newson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Charrua looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Charrua looks winded!
Charrua shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Newson counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Charrua badly! Newson follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Charrua out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Newson finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jase Newson!
Jase Newson gave a mention to Australian Xtreme Elite Supplements 160Q in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
