Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Silva Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva Jr comes into the arena with 2pac- Another Motherfucker Drops blaring out of the sound system. Torres has chosen All I Do Is Win as his entrance music. Dan Torres will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Jr fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Torres manages to avoid it.
Silva Jr lands a nice looking body shot.
Torres shoots in and drives through. Silva Jr sprawls well.
It looked like Silva Jr was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Torres throws a right and a left that Silva Jr avoids nicely.
We've been told by Silva Jr's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Torres uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva Jr.
Torres will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva Jr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Dan Torres has been cut.

Silva Jr throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Torres.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva Jr has Torres pressed against the cage, preventing Torres from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Dan Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Silva Jr counters with a straight that turns Torres's legs to rubber! Silva Jr pushes forward with more strikes and Torres goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Lucas Silva Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
