Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nils Holgersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holgersson comes to the cage accompanied by Theme. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Holgersson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Brad Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw tries to close the distance and clinch up but Holgersson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A bone on bone clash there as Holgersson blocks the leg kick.
Shaw shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Shaw looks to clinch

and Holgersson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shaw won't be happy with that.
Holgersson lands some shots froms side control.

Holgersson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Shaw, who protects the arm well.
Holgersson laying and praying for a moment but Shaw takes advantage and regains half guard.
Holgersson is pressing down on Shaw's thigh, looking to free his foot. Shaw is holding on for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Holgersson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shaw defends it easily.

Holgersson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shaw can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nils Holgersson will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Holgersson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shaw napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Holgersson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
