Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anatoliy Lapikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapikov comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Hells Bells . Uzannavabizch has chosen Brandon Loveladdy's band WE ARE THE CHOSEN : BREAKING THE KARMIC CYCLE as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Anatoliy Lapikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anatoliy Lapikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzannavabizch takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Uzannavabizch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lapikov throws a hook but Uzannavabizch avoids it easily. Uzannavabizch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lapikov moves away. Lapikov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Lapikov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Uzannavabizch. Uzannavabizch attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Uzannavabizch.
Lapikov throws a shot from downtown. Uzannavabizch moves away and avoids it. Lapikov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Uzannavabizch misses with a wild body shot. Lapikov misses with a looping right. Lapikov tests Uzannavabizch's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lapikov takes a shot right to the bread basket. Uzannavabizch avoids a punch combination nicely.

Uzannavabizch throws a series of punches but Lapikov avoids them all with ease. Uzannavabizch lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lapikov tries for a takedown but Uzannavabizch sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lapikov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Uzannavabizch's half guard. Uzannavabizch is looking to control Lapikov's leg but it's slowly edging free. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Uzannavabizch digs a good body shot into Lapikov's ribs. Uzannavabizch looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Lapikov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lapikov shoots for a double leg takedown but Uzannavabizch sprawls well. He's pushed Lapikov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Uzannavabizch is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lapikov rather than just go for the knockout. Lapikov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Uzannavabizch was covering up waiting for the punch and Lapikov finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lapikov being controlled here momentarily. That was a close round but I would say that Anatoliy Lapikov will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Uzannavabizch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lapikov is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Uzannavabizch trying to control from the bottom.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lapikov in particular looking to stall.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Uzannavabizch has hold of Lapikov's hands but Lapikov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lapikov not doing much here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Anatoliy Lapikov will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Uzannavabizch lands with an uppercut that bounces Lapikov off the cage and back into range. Lapikov clobbers Uzannavabizch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Uzannavabizch.
Uzannavabizch looks to throw the jab but Lapikov is out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Lapikov misses the target. Uzannavabizch throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Uzannavabizch fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lapikov. Lapikov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Uzannavabizch takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Anatoliy Lapikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uzannavabizch buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Uzannavabizch stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anatoliy Lapikov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lapikov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Uzannavabizch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Uzannavabizch trying to control the position.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anatoliy Lapikov. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lapikov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
