Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Virgil Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keller has chosen War Music as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scotty Bennet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Virgil Keller!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller cracks a nice hook into Bennet's ribs.
Keller throws a hook to the side of Bennet's head but Bennet sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bennet misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Keller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Keller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bennet lands a right hook to the body.
Bennet throws a jab but it's blocked by Keller.
Bennet takes a swing at Keller's ribcage but misses.
Bennet throws a combination that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Keller moves out of range of the body kick.
Keller is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bennet scores with a body shot.
Bennet definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Keller swings for the body but Bennet moves out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Keller checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bennet looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bennet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Keller moves out of range as Bennet strikes.
Bennet with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Keller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Keller waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bennet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bennet throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bennet scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Keller doesn't seem bothered though.
Keller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bennet pivots, looking for a leg kick but Keller is out of range and Bennet settles back down.
Bennet thows a leg kick but Keller checks it
and Keller counters with a series of strikes. Bennet will be more careful next time no doubt.
Keller takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice body punch from Bennet.
Bennet misses with a looping right.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Keller, right into the meat.
Bennet dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bennet takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Keller scores with a decent looking hook.
Keller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bennet is looking to wear down Keller with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A jab from Bennet misses.
Bennet scores with a one two! Keller had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bennet fails to land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bennet.
Bennet takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Some wild striking there from Bennet.
Keller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bennet manages to avoid it.
Keller tries to score with a low kick but Bennet moves his leg out of the way.
As Keller backs away, Bennet returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Keller lands a right hook to the body.
Bennet looks to land a combination but Keller avoids it well.
A jab from Keller misses.
Bennet throws a shot to the body.
Keller misses with a straight left.

Keller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bennet, pushing him back against the cage.

Keller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bennet throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bennet swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Keller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Keller showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bennet.
Keller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bennet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Keller misses with a looping left.
Keller lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bennet cracks Keller with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Keller closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nice defenses there by Bennet.

Bennet shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Keller manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keller wants to get back to his feet but Bennet is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Keller working for submissions but it's allowed Bennet to get to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Keller gets back to full guard.
Keller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Keller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bennet can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Keller looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bennet is defending well. Keller quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bennet has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Keller celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Virgil Keller!
Virgil Keller seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
In defeat, Scotty Bennet stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm shop worn and injury riddled. Time to call it a career.'.
