The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawakami tries for a takedown but Mirskovich sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mirskovich fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kawakami ducks under a wild hook from Mirskovich.
Kawakami ducks straight into an uppercut from Mirskovich and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Kawakami maanges to regain guard straight away.
