Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray's entrance music is Skindred - Warning. A fine choice. Nick Gray has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Gray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Devon Gonzalez! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gonzalez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gonzalez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gonzalez postures up.
Gonzalez sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gray looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonzalez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gray is keeping the position for now. Gonzalez is stalling in the full guard. Gray is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gray will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gonzalez pushing down on Gray's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gonzalez sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gray wants to get back to full guard. Gonzalez content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gonzalez pulls his head out easily. Gonzalez passes to side control. Gonzalez controls the position from side control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gray tries to bench press Gonzalez off him but Gonzalez keeps the position. Gray trying to remain calm as Gonzalez controls from the top position. Gonzalez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. More stalling from Gonzalez. Let's hope that Gonzalez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Gonzalez has an Americana. Gray didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gonzalez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gonzalez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
