Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Strange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galdra Kiddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Strange! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Galdra Kiddi! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strange misses with a double jab.
Strange throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Strange is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kiddi. Strange blocks a head kick by Kiddi.
Strange jabs Kiddi to the body, keeping him at a distance. Strange throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kiddi throws a lazy head kick and Strange counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Strange. Strange wants to pass the guard but Kiddi is keeping the position. Kiddi looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Strange working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Strange throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kiddi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kiddi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Strange can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiddi keeping moving, preventing Strange from controlling successfully. Strange is really struggling to control Kiddi but he's trying to hold on to the position. Kiddi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Strange doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kiddi is tightening it up a little... Strange has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Strange reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Strange taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kiddi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Galdra Kiddi! After winning the bout, Galdra Kiddi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. Simon Strange spoke after the fight, saying 'FFS, can't seem to catch a break at the moment.'.
