Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Lightbeer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buzz Lightbeer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adam Ash!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ash misses the shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Ash.
Ash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A slow jab from Ash misses its intended target.
Ash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lightbeer swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Ash closes the distance and pushes Lightbeer back into the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Lightbeer.

Ash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ash blocks a head kick by Lightbeer.
Lightbeer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ash.
Lightbeer thumps Ash with a low kick.
Ash thows a leg kick but Lightbeer checks it
and Lightbeer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lightbeer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.


It looks like Adam Ash has been cut.
Lightbeer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lightbeer throws the left hand but Ash avoids the punch easily.
Lightbeer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ash.
Lightbeer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lightbeer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ash if he has to take too many more of those.

Lightbeer fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ash.
Nice defenses there by Ash.
Ash unleashes a big counter combination but Lightbeer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ash has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ash wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Ash shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ash showed some decent athleticism there.
Lightbeer is looking for a sweep. Ash is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ash takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ash throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lightbeer wants to improve his position but Ash is controlling well.

Ash is working for a kimura but Lightbeer is defending it quite comfortably.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lightbeer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ash has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ash and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

As Ash backs away, Lightbeer returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Ash shoots for a double leg takedown but Lightbeer sprawls well. He's pushed Ash's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lightbeer appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Buzz Lightbeer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Ash.
Lightbeer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ash has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

I would just about give that final round to Adam Ash.
I've got Ash winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
