Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fausto Rivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Glenn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fausto Rivas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Glenn! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glenn looks to land a body kick but Rivas moved away. Rivas feinted with a counter takedown. Glenn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rivas on his heels. He'll look to pass Rivas's guard now, I'm sure. Glenn wants to control from the top but Rivas keeps moving. Glenn tries to stand but Rivas is controlling from the bottom. Glenn trying to control the position from guard on top but Rivas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glenn wants to pass the guard but Rivas is keeping the position. Glenn trying to control but Rivas is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivas seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Glenn wants to control from the top but Rivas keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rivas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rivas is defended easily by Glenn. Glenn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rivas to the mat! Rivas manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glenn trying to control but Rivas is working from the bottom. Glenn throws an elbow that misses. Rivas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Glenn's guard. Nice move by Rivas! Glenn is looking to stand back up but Rivas counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Glenn. Glenn is looking to get back to full guard here but Rivas has managed to pass to side control instead. Glenn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rivas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rivas in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glenn tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Glenn tries to lock up and control but Rivas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Glenn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rivas looking to control but Glenn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Glenn is bucking up trying to escape but Rivas cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rivas with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Rivas is landing with some decent strikes but Glenn is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Rivas working Glenn over with strikes here. Glenn can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fausto Rivas dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rivas tries to sprawl but Glenn drives through with a takedown into half guard. Glenn is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Glenn is just content to waste time from the top position. Rivas takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Rivas is pulling down on Glenn's head to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glenn looking to sit in guard and control but Rivas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glenn looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rivas passes into side control.
Rivas lands an elbow. Rivas has control of an arm but Glenn manages to advance to Rivas's back! Glenn is controlling the position but Rivas somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivas wants to control but Glenn is keeping busy and won't allow it. Glenn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rivas defends it well. Rivas is trying to control but can't.
Rivas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Glenn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Glenn's back! Good control from Rivas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivas lands strikes to the head. Rivas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Glenn can do to turn this around? Rivas is landing with strikes from the back. Glenn is trying to break free.
Glenn is breathing heavily. Rivas has his arm under Glenn's chin here. Game over son! Rivas squeezes tightly and Glenn is forced to tap out!
