1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrewle Martin! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin misses with a wild body shot. Martin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Garcia. Martin throws a body punch but Garcia moves out of range. Garcia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Martin defends it nicely. A countering left hand to the body from Martin misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garcia manages to avoid it. Garcia went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Martin connects with a body shot that sends Garcia's belly button to the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Martin is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Garcia with a body shot. Martin moves into range and connects with a jab. Garcia looks for a takedown but Martin sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Melvin Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martin misses with a straight right. Garcia throwing a counter right hand but Martin manages to avoid it. That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin cracks Garcia with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Martin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Garcia checks it well. Garcia has his takedown stuffed and Martin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A slow jab from Martin misses its intended target. Martin throws a lazy right hand but Garcia sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A little feinted left hand from Garcia on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Martin just misses with a punch to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garcia defending well as Martin loads up on a big left hand. Garcia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Martin misses with a wild body shot. No joy there for Martin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Martin scores with a hook to the body. Garcia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Garcia dodges the punch combination from Martin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrewle Martin dominated that round. That's time! Garcia's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Garcia might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Martin works Garcia's body with a nice hook. Garcia really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Martin looks to land a combination. Garcia sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A shot to the liver by Martin. Beautiful body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.

Martin misses with a wild body shot. Garcia swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Garcia closes the distance and clinches up with Martin, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes Martin against the cage but Martin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Martin is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Garcia gets cracked there but stands up to it.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Martin! But no joy. Andrewle Martin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Martin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garcia circles away quickly and effectively. Garcia takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Garcia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Martin as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Martin. Martin lands with a shot to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garcia. Martin lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Garcia shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Martin is trying to defend but Garcia finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin tries to roll over but Garcia keeps him under control. Martin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Garcia is trying to work for a kimura but Martin is defending well.

Andrewle Martin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Melvin Garcia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Martin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Garcia shoots in looking for a takedown but Martin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Garcia's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Garcia needs to keep his hands up - Martin had a free shot at his head there. Martin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Garcia. Garcia is looking to counter punch. Garcia shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Martin sprawls well. Martin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Garcia gets slowly back to his feet. Despite the aggression on Martin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

An attempted straight right counter from Garcia misses the target. Martin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Garcia. A counter left hand to the body from Garcia misses its target. Garcia misses with a takedown and Martin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Martin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Garcia.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Martin. Andrewle Martin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Martin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Garcia circles away quickly and effectively. Garcia fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Garcia has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrewle Martin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Martin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Andrewle Martin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. In defeat, Melvin Garcia stepped up to the mic, saying 'Props to the other guy, but I think it was a fluke. But I want to give a shout out to Dissolution Fight Wear.'.
