Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Monty Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inci Yarakos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inci Yarakos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Inci Yarakos!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yarakos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dean could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dean successfully pulls guard.
Dean looking to control but Yarakos passes into half guard.
Yarakos tries to stand and escape but Dean is controlling the position.
Dean trying to hold on to Yarakos's head to control him but Yarakos postures up.
Dean makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dean.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dean escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yarakos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dean wants to control the position but Yarakos says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yarakos lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dean tries to kick Yarakos off in order to stand up. Yarakos Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Yarakos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Yarakos is in a bad position with Dean working for a choke. Yarakos manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Yarakos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dean does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dean is pressing down on Yarakos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Yarakos jumps guard and drags Dean to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yarakos can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dean fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dean shoots for a double leg takedown but Yarakos sprawls well. He's pushed Dean's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dean misses with a series of wild punches.
Inci Yarakos is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Yarakos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Inci Yarakos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yarakos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
