Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drunken Piaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ZyD Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Drunken Piaso! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, ZyD Vicious! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piaso shoots for a double leg takedown but Vicious sprawls well. He's pushed Piaso's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vicious feints the counter takedown. Vicious shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Vicious throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Piaso counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Vicious wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Piaso manages to pass to side control. Piaso looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Piaso has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piaso is looking for a kimura but Vicious is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Piaso to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piaso controlling the action here. Piaso wants to free his trapped foot but Vicious is holding on for dear life with his legs. Vicious controlling the position for now. Piaso uses his free foot to push down on Vicious's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vicious. Piaso connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Vicious takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piaso looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Piaso fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Piaso thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Piaso looking to ground and pound but Vicious is blocking nicely. Piaso throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Vicious is wriggling around trying to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vicious can do anything to dispel that myth. Piaso with good strikes from the mount here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Piaso controlling from mount. Piaso trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vicious is bucking up trying to escape but Piaso cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Piaso gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Piaso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Piaso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vicious as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drunken Piaso. That's going to take a lot out of him. A clash of legs there as Piaso blocks the low kick. Piaso gets the takedown into side control. Piaso looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Piaso throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Vicious seems a little lost for a moment, as Piaso dominates the positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vicious tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Piaso wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Piaso throwing shots but missing, from side control. Piaso lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vicious wants to control but Piaso postures up. Vicious is trying to improve his position. Vicious is trying to control Piaso's posture but Piaso avoids it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Piaso decides to stand back up. Piaso steps back and let's Vicious get back to his feet. Piaso checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Piaso is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drunken Piaso dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
An inside leg kick from Vicious misses. Piaso tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vicious swivels and escapes. Vicious leaves Piaso with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Vicious connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Vicious misses with a leg kick. A head kick misses from Vicious. Drunken Piaso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Piaso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vicious's waist but Vicious gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Piaso off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drunken Piaso. That's going to take a lot out of him. Piaso tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vicious paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jab, jab by Vicious - just one landing. Vicious throws a wild body kick that Piaso sees coming a mile off. Piaso is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vicious can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vicious looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Piaso tries for a takedown but Vicious sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A jab from Vicious finds it's way through Piaso's defenses. Drunken Piaso is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vicious misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Piaso fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A lazy left from Vicious finds it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vicious tries a head kick but it misses.

We've been informed that Vicious has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Vicious throws a head kick but Piaso moves out of range.
Vicious digs a good hook to Piaso's body.
Some bone on bone action there as Piaso checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. ZyD Vicious seems to be getting the better of the standup. Piaso shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Vicious misses with a leg kick. Vicious does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Piaso. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vicious wants to slow Piaso down by chopping away at his legs. A lazy body kick from Vicious and Piaso counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vicious won't be happy with that. Vicious really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Piaso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Piaso lands a nice forearm strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vicious is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Piaso working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Piaso throws a strike aimed at the side of Vicious's head but Vicious avoids it well. Vicious is looking for a sweep. Vicious is not content to let Piaso control the position. Vicious is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Piaso misses with the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Piaso looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Piaso is working to tighten his grip on Vicious's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Vicious has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Piaso is really squeezing tight and eventually Vicious passes out! Piaso breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
