Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximo Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill The Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maximo Ruiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bill The Kid!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz blocks a head kick by The Kid.
Ruiz tries to clinch but The Kid is having none of it.
The Kid is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
The Kid digs a good hook to Ruiz's body.
The Kid works the jab nicely.

It looks like Maximo Ruiz has been cut.

The Kid drops Ruiz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ruiz looks back up at him and smiles so The Kid waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Ruiz is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Kid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Ruiz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bill The Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Kid throws a head kick that misses.
The Kid finds Ruiz's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ruiz flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. The Kid lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ruiz will be OK.
