And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, James McGuiness!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Behnder Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McGuiness.
A clash of legs there as McGuiness blocks the low kick.
McGuiness throws a hook but Behnder Jr blocks it.
Behnder Jr delivers a nice body kick.
The fighters circling - McGuiness throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McGuiness takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Behnder Jr thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on McGuiness if he has to take too many more of those.
Behnder Jr misses with a head kick.
It seemed like McGuiness was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Behnder Jr throws a body punch but McGuiness moves out of range.
Behnder Jr throws a body shot but no joy.
McGuiness looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McGuiness jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Behnder Jr has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Masaru Fighting Systems II in the buildup to the fight.
Behnder Jr feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McGuiness's calf.
Behnder Jr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An inside leg kick lands from Behnder Jr.
McGuiness misses with a looping left.
McGuiness throws a poor cross that misses
and Behnder Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McGuiness lands the left hand.
McGuiness pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McGuiness is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Behnder Jr.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Behnder Jr bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Behnder Jr changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
McGuiness scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.


Behnder Jr is rocked!
Behnder Jr throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Oh Behnder Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGuiness fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Behnder Jr to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Behnder Jr looks to clinch but McGuiness throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Behnder Jr taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). James McGuiness!
